Director of Nursing, Surgical Center
Veronica Norris brings extensive skills in hospital and surgery procedures to our nursing family here at Santa Monica Fertility. Veronica first received her Associate degree in Nursing from Cypress College, and continued on to receive Bachelor degrees in Nursing and also Public Health from Cal State Dominguez Hills. In addition to her exemplary training, Veronica’s repertoire includes an impressive list of skills which she gained while working for Saint John’s Health Care Center (in the Gastrointestinal Lab) and La Peer Surgery Center, where she served as the Director of Nursing. Veronica’s specialties include pre and post anesthesia, and operating room procedures. During her role as Director of Nursing, she has achieved accreditations with both AAAHC and AAAA.
Veronica’s passion for Reproductive Medicine emerged from her own family’s struggle with infertility. While working here at SMF with Dr. Jain, Veronica was thrilled to be able to help her sister to finally receive the gift of a child, through IVF.
Not only is Veronica the jack-of-all-trades in nursing, but she also lives life to the fullest. Though she was born and raised in Lakewood, California, Veronica is very much a part of a global community and culture. She lives to travel, and spends most of her spare time either in another country, or planning the next place to visit. She is still trying to invent a way to be two places at once, so she can do both her loves of nursing and traveling at the same time. When she is at home, Veronica cherishes her Boston terrier, Lily, and her French bulldog, Lulu. Her ultimate life goal is to be “forever young” by continuing to enjoy life to the fullest, and help others through nursing.
